The Boss RC50 is his primary tool, resulting in a sound more like a multiple-artist ensemble than that of an individual performer. Avant-garde, alternative, and/or ambient barely scratch the surface in describing the musical forms built by Substation7. These are arrangements of complex, layered, live electronic soundscapes incorporating looping, found sound, and multi-tapped tempo-synced delays.
